The services and infrastructure provided by Cryptohippie USA, Inc.
(henceforth "Cryptohippie USA") and its suppliers may NOT be used for the following services or contents:
Distribution and/or storage of any pornography including children, violence or
bestiality, or any other type of illegal pornography.
Distribution of illegal contents that conflict with Trademarks or intellectual property rights of a third party.
Distribution and/or storage of racist propaganda material.
Distribution and/or storage of material supporting National Socialism.
SPAM (sending of unsolicited electronic messages in bulk).
Fraud.
Distribution and/or storage of any content that harms the dignity of man.
VPN accounts include one mailbox with up to 100 aliases, the use of the smarthost SMTP server
and up to 250 megabytes (MB) of storage. Storage above 250MB will be billed (pro-rated) at a
rate of 1 Euro/month/GB. Cryptohippie USA will reduce the length of the user's contract accordingly.
VPN accounts include access to our internal Cryptogroup.net Jabber system.
Data traffic between the user and the router shall be a maximum of 25 Gigabytes (GB) per month.
Additional traffic will be billed (pro-rated) to the user at a rate of 1 Euro/GB. Cryptohippie USA will
reduce the length of the user's contract accordingly.
New VPN accounts will be given a 30-day trial period. Within this period, users who wish to cancel
will be given a full refund, provided that they have used no more than 2 GB of traffic. Dissatisfied
users who go over the 2 GB limit will be entitled to a pro-rated refund (usage charged at 1 Euro/GB) during
the 30 day period.
In the event of a temporary outage, Cryptohippie USA will add all outage time to the end of the contract,
plus one additional day per outage over 1 hour in duration. Outages shall be defined as 50% or more users
unable to access the system, according to the measurement of Cryptohippie collection servers.
Account duration is 1 year starting with the date of account creation.
In no event shall Cryptohippie USA be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary
or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of
use, data or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in
contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of
the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damage. Exception to this is gross negligence or intent.
The user acknowledges that Cryptohippie USA and Cryptohippie, Inc. (Panama) are separate, independent organizations.
Cryptohippie, Inc. (Panama) builds and operates the CHAVPN network, but has no contact with customers.
Cryptohippie USA provides all customer service and is a reseller of Cryptohippie, Inc. products, but has no
access to the traffic information of the user.
Cryptohippie USA will retain user payment information in encrypted form.
Cryptohippe, Inc. (Panama) will log outgoing SMTP (mail) connection IP associations by target for a maximum period of 48 hours,
to prevent security-relevant abuse. All logs are fully encrypted and require multiple parties to decode. Furthermore, logs
are structured in such a way that to build traffic patterns is impossible but only identify single abusive outgoing
connections. Further logging may occur when compelled by legal order. In case of elevated logging requirements per
destination due to court order, CH USA provides a per client option to block all user traffic to such a destination.
Violation of these terms of service is grounds for immediate disconnection.
This agreement shall be governed and construed according to the laws of the State of Illinois and venue for
any legal action relative to this agreement shall lie only in the Cook County Court system or in the appropriate
Federal Court for Northeastern Illinois.
Privacy Policy
Cryptohippie USA will generally protect user data and user details.
Cryptohippie USA will NOT sell, rent or make available any customer data to a third party.
Cryptohippie USA will NOT monitor traffic or write log files that contain any personal data
(including but not limited to Internet Protocol addresses).
Cryptohippie USA will NOT monitor traffic usage unless required for accounting purposes.
Traffic usage data does not include identifiable data such as IP addresses.
Cryptohippie USA will NOT store any user data or details on computers that could be accessed through any
kind of public network.
Cryptohippie USA will NOT pass any user data on to any party unless legally compelled to do so.
User data will be delivered to a third party only if a court order is in effect.
Cryptohippie USA will defend user data by appropriate legal means.
Cryptohippie USA shall not share user data with Cryptohippie, Inc. (Panama).
